Dust Hustle 8 - QLD Moto Park

May 24, 2019

The Dust Hustle is not a DMCSC event, however, club members are participating and we are happy to help promote their event.

Dust Hustle is Ellaspede's day on the dirt for anyone to roll out and ride whatever rig they can throw a leg over! This is a flat track fun day open to all the weird, wonderful and woefully unsuitable motorcycles that could possibly be ridden on the dirt.

This was the first event in Australia for complete novices to pilot improper rides on a legitimate racetrack in the best damn display of dirt and dust tomfoolery. Dust Hustle also attracts seasoned track specialists who dust off some unseemly scoots and have twice the fun trying to go half as fast.

'Bring it and ping it' is the theme for this foot down dust up, with an emphasis on the wacky experience over the racing seriousness. Classes for this dirt flirt include everything from slush box scooters through to risky road bikes and choppers.

Remember riding with mates when you were kids? The bikes were a mismatch of big, small, old and new, but you still had the best damn time.

Frigid Willy Ride

This auspicious annual event approaches every July.

Manly men affirm their manhood and brave the icy brunt of winter with grim faces and determination and head southward.

The traditional destination for this is a warm brekkie before heading to Carnell raceway to see heroes of past ride steeds of steel.

So come ride some frozen roads less travelled, feed, then watch motorcycle racing.  It really doesn't get better than that.

The event is open to all riders at all levels of experience

If you haven’t participated yet, check our calendar or print the event flyer and ride with us soon.

Ride departs at 6.00am from the clubhouse
