The 2015 Huggie Bear Memorial Blanket Run was a great success. It was a perfect day with clear blue skys which brought out about 170 bikes and their riders and pillions.
Two massive ute loads of blankets were collected for the Toowoomba Crisis Accommodation Centre. These will be put to use in many ways in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs community such as helping the homeless, fire victims or just people who find themselves in a temporary situation without the essentials of life.
The Toowoomba West Lions Club who provide the catering were very happy after using all the sausages they had. Donations taken from the Lions sausage sizzle go directly to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.
Thanks to all those who came along on the day and a big thanks to the Downs Motorcycle Sporting Club members for making the day run very smoothly Nathan.
