Angry Ranga Poker Run
March
The DMCSC Poker Run is run is along the lines of the classic game of poker, each player is dealt 5 cards in different 5 locations.
The person with the best hand wins.
Couple this with a nice motorbike ride somewhere around the Downs and you've got yourself a genuine poker run.
Adventure, fun and a chance to ride with old friends and make new ones are all part of the poker run experience.
The event is open to all riders at all levels of experience.

Show Holiday
Motorcycle Display - Toowoomba Show
April - show holiday day only
The DMCSC displays a range of road and race bikes from the 1950's through to the 2000's. Some are stock while others have been uniquely customized by their current owners.
Memorabilia includes documents, trophies and photos dating back to 1926.
Of particular interest is the 1934 Bathurst Senior (TT) Tourist Trophy won by past member Mervyn (Curley) Anderson.

Huggie Bear Memorial Toowoomba Blanket Run
May - generally held on the last Sunday
The DMCSC holds an annual blanket run which is now known as the "Huggie Bear Memorial Toowoomba Blanket Run".
Ride Details:
Meet at Picnic Point from 10:30 am.
Rides depart from here at 12 Noon.
This is a longer ride departing Picnic Point taking in some of the lesser-known roads of the Darling Downs and finishing at the DMCSC clubhouse in the Toowoomba Showgrounds for some entertainment, a sausage sizzle, raffles and refreshments.
Every rider is asked for a donation of a blanket or flannel sheets that will be distributed to selected charities in the Toowoomba region.

Frigid Willy Ride
July - Carnell raceway weekend
This auspicious annual event approaches every July.
Manly men affirm their manhood and brave the icy brunt of winter with grim faces and determination and head southward.
The traditional destination for this is a warm brekkie before heading to Carnell raceway to see heroes of past ride steeds of steel.
So come ride some frozen roads less traveled, feed, then watch motorcycle racing. It really doesn't get better than that.

Tony Hiscox Memorial Navigation & Economy Rally
September
An annual club event and always a crowd favorite with many prizes up for grabs (including worst fuel economy) and as always have your name engraved on the coveted Tony Hiscox Memorial Shield.
The challenge is two-fold, firstly to beat the rest in the navigation of a pre-set route around the Darling Downs. Secondly to do this with the least amount of fuel and clinch the trophy for the best fuel economy on the day.

Australian MotoGP
October
Don’t miss your chance to join the DMCSC as a VIP guest at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix - Phillip Island in October.
Situated 1,675 km north of the circuit, the DMCSC’s new and improved VIP suite offers unrivaled views of Sunday’s racing on the widescreen TV. The day offers BYO BBQ CATERING with a cash bar, barista, use of the luxurious lounge area, guided tours of the workshop, club race bikes.

Tenterfield Weekender
November - generally the last weekend in November
Originally, this weekend ride was to support the Tenterfield Toy Run, which has been discontinued.
A number of members head down below the border on Friday to make a weekend of it, whilst others make the trek on Saturday morning.
A great weekend away catching up with everyone and having a quiet ale or two while riding some of the less-travelled roads around the Tenterfield district.

Awards Night & Christmas Party
December - generally held on the last Saturday before Christmas
A great chance for all members to catch up and celebrate the festive season.
We have a two-course meal, a few drinks and present the end of year awards including but not limited to;
· Iron -arse Award
· Beige Award
· Presidents Choice
There are many other humorous trophy presentations based on events that have occurred over the past twelve months.
If we have all be good boys and girls a visit from Santa is on the cards.

DMCSC Toowoomba Toy Run
December - generally held on the last Sunday before Christmas
The Toowoomba Motorcycle Toy Run has been run by the DMCSC since 1977.
This is a great event for the motorcycling community of the Darling Downs and Toowoomba to support some very worthy charities with donations of toys, clothes and food and bring some joy to those in need at Christmas time.
When considering your donation don't forget the older kids, as not every kid needs a fluffy teddy bear.
Inbound Rides
The 4 inbound rides leave Gatton, Goombungee, Oakey and Nobby at 10.30 am for Picnic Point Toowoomba.
Main Ride
Leaves Picnic Point at 12 midday, for the DMCSC clubhouse at the Toowoomba Showgrounds.
Cold drinks and a gold coin donation sausage sizzle will be available for all participants.
